SMART consortium is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. SMART consortium will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement or the particular web page.
Personal Information

In different parts of our website the users are required to give their contact information (such as name, email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored in the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. The usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the users close their browsers, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. By signing this terms of use, the Large organizations express their willingness to:
- use the SMART tools to spread knowledge about their proposals under preparation;
- involve SMEs belonging to the SMART network  in RTD projects led by them.

This website takes all the precautions to protect our users’ information. All the information of our users, not only the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our project. Only SMART partners who need the information to perform a specific job are allowed to access to personally identifiable information. All SMART partners are kept up-to-date on the security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
