MARSEC-XL, one of the CLUSTER belonging to the SMART Community,  is organising a MARSSA FP7 Innovation Workshop in Malta on 20-21 February 2012.

The aim of this workshop is to brainstorm on innovative ideas as applications for MARSSA which will contribute to making vessels greener, safer and smarter. 

MARSSA is the MARine Systems Software Architecture, (www.marssa.org), sets out to be an open platform for the marine industry, deployable on any type and form of vessel, allowing the future of the marine industry to happen.
