Federmobilità, is a cluster  associated to the SMART project, gathering  Italian mobility organizations and agencies active  at regional  and local level from the  whole country. It promotes sustainable transport idea and  initiatives  as well as the use of alternative routes and way of freight transport.

This workshop confirmed the willingness of promoting sustainable transport solutions and will foster R&D collaborations between Public organizations (Universities, Research Centers, Public Transport organizations) and Private companies and research centers, starting from proposal under preparation  which address specific topics of  the FP7 SST call. 

An overview of funding programmes  (not only FP7) for transport R&D actions will be provided .
Project proposals looking for partners were presented as well as specific technological needs expressed by Transport end users in order to favor the discussion and orientate future R&D actions. 

Audience: the workshop addressed Public and Private organizations active in the Surface Transport domain, Universities, Research centers,  innovation Agencies.
Organization: The event was organized by CIAOTECH, the SMART coordinator, in collaboration with Federmobilità, the cluster associated to the SMART project, which gathers mobility public operators and agencies in the Lazio region and promotes sustainable mobility.
