Within the framework of the current situation of economic crises and high global competition, automotive companies should guarantee their present and future competitiveness by putting a special emphasis in two complementary directions: on one side they should offer innovative and creative products, and on the other side, they should strengthen their presence at international level. The cooperative R&D projects, both, national and European, especially the FP7, are an opportunity for the companies, particularly SMEs, to face up to this double challenge with success.

Objectives: To foster companies in participating in long-range cooperative R&D activities and announce concrete examples of success projects cofinanced by CDTI and FP7.

Organizers: This event was organized by CTAG, the most important agent responsible for promoting R&D among Galician automotive companies, with the support of of the Fundación para o Fomento da Calidade Industrial e o Desenvolvemento Tecnolóxico de Galicia, the Galician partner of the SMART project
